Doug Bartlett founded Bartlett Roofing in Boise, Idaho with nothing but a truck, a phone, and the willingness to outwork everyone around him. No investors. No industry connections. He knocked doors himself, negotiated every insurance claim personally, and hired his first crew on faith.
In his very first month, he signed 18 roofing contracts — and never looked back. Year after year, he reinvested in the business, built systems that could scale, and assembled a team of operators who shared his standard.
Today, Bartlett Roofing does $50M in annual revenue, employs 200 people, and has earned back-to-back placement on the Inc. 5000 — the definitive list of America's fastest-growing private companies. Doug still lives and works in Boise, Idaho, where the company was born.
